About Us
Beliefs
We are a community of believers dedicated to Jesus as our Savior and Lord and to each other as part of God's family. We believe that God loves each person and wants them to know him, and that Jesus is the way to knowing God. We join with all Christians everywhere in proclaiming the good news of the Gospel.
Our Pastor
Pastor Victor Romain came to Steelton Mennonite Church in January of 2000. He served in various ministries prior to his arrival that gave him experiences in evangelism, preaching, youth ministry, counseling and teaching. Pastor Victor has also worked in state government in a number of roles including vocational rehab, recruitment and human resources. He is a graduate of Los Angeles Baptist College with a B.A. in Systematic Theology and a Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA. Pastor Victor is married to Oneisha and they have four children (Johanna, John, Matthew and Rachael) and three grandchildren (Roan, Aurora and Shayan). He enjoys the challenge of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through weekly messages, family time (especially play time with his grandchildren), walking and photography.
Who We Are
Our church has been part of the Steelton community for over 80 years. We reflect the diversity that is characteristic of our community and the Harrisburg area. We meet together regularly for encouragement and support, and we warmly welcome you to join us on a Sunday morning. Please also join us for special events such as Family film nights, fellowship meals, women's and men's events, and outreach activities.
